The Chopperdome zal ook dit jaar weer aanwezig zijn op de 5e editie van de American day in Waarland. Dit evenement vindt plaats op Hemelvaartsdag. Voor alle liefhebbers van klassieker auto's, motoren en custom bikes! Mocht je op je custom ride komen, hebben we uiteraard een mooi plekje voor je gereserveerd.

Wie nog een mooi stukje Noord-Holland wil ervaren, kan mee met de cruise die vertrekt vanaf station Alkmaar. Het is ongeveer 16 km fietsen naar Waarland.

Verzamelpunt: station Alkmaar, aan de ACHTERZIJDE

Vertrektijd: 11:30

Duur cruise: ongeveer 1 uur, de terugweg is op eigen gelegenheid

Nieuw van Cyclon: Instant Polish Wax

Cyclon introduceert een nieuwe wax die zowel reinigt als beschermt. Het maakt onderdelen vuilafstotend, geeft tijdelijke bescherming aan lak, chroom, carbon, aluminium, titanium en kunststof en is te gebruiken op zowel gelakte als ongelakte lagen.

Het heeft dus de sterke eigenschappen van een reiniger én die van een beschermend product in één. Daarnaast is de wax op waterbasis, waardoor het ook nog eens een milieuvriendelijk product is.

Zowel geschikt voor glans en mat lak!

Because of our presence at Eurobike 2012, the Chopperdome will be closed from 27-08 till 04-09. Orders received before 12:00 on the 23rd of August will be shipped out. We will continue shipments again on the 4th of September.

United Cruiser

Nu verkrijgbaar bij The Chopperdome: United Cruiser. UC is een nieuw Frans fietsmerk, maar vindt zijn oorsprong in Amerika. De focus van United Cruiser ligt op de traditionele Amerikaanse cruiserbike, gecombineerd met de kwaliteit, kennis en luxe van de Europese fietsindustrie. De fietsen zijn van prachtige kwaliteit. Alle frames zijn van aluminium, net als de gehele afwerking tot aan de bouten en moeren aan toe, hierdoor is het een zeer lichte cruiser. De zadels en handvatten zijn veelal van leer of alcantara, de lak is extra hard en glossy. Een genot om te zien maar natuurlijk vooral om te rijden! Kom gerust eens langs bij The Chopperdome voor een proefrit!

De zon schijnt, een perfecte dag voor een cruise! Wilma kwam vandaag haar Electra Surf Beach ophalen en
maakte vervolgens een heerlijke rit van 40km naar huis. Alle spullen kunnen worden meegnomen achterin
de mand, die bevestigd is op de bagagedrager.

The sun is shining, a wonderful day to go for a cruise! Wilma came in today to pick up her beautiful new
Electra Surf Beach and take it for a first cruise of 40 km back home. All items can be carried along in the basket
on the rear.

Electra Townie with Bobike Maxi

Sally is de nieuwe trotse eigenaresse van deze prachtige azuur blauwe Electra Townie. De fiets is uitgerust
met een Bobike Maxi zitje achter, zodat haar kindje altijd veilig mee kan. Voor is een rek bevestigd om extra
bagage zoals boodschappen te vervoeren. De Electra Townie is een zeer comfortabele fiets; de zithouding is
rechtop, het stuur staat iets hoger dan normaal zodat de armen ontspannen op het stuur rusten en doordat de
trapas naar voren is geplaatst kun je makkelijk met 2 voeten bij de grond zonder af te stappen.

This brightly coloured azure blue Electra Townie belongs to Sally, who will use the bike for her daily rides. The
bike is equipped with a Bobike Maxi children seat so she can safely bring her child along and a front carrier to
carry extra luggage. The Electra Townie offers a most comfortable riding position; the sitting position is upright
and because the handlebar is a bit higher than on a normal bike, the arms rest comfortably on the handlebar.
The crank is placed a little forward which makes it possible to have your feet flat on the ground without getting
off the bike.

This is Nathan’s Ride, originally an Electra Ratfink which he has transformed in a matt black mean machine.
The wheelset was built by The Chopperdome Garage, with 24’’ 65mm front and 80mm rear finished with a
set of Electra Fatti O whitewall tires.

Dit is Nathans's Ride, origineel een Electra Rat Fink, omgebouwd tot een vette mat zwarte chopper. De wielen
zijn gebouwd door The Chopperdome Garage, achter 80mm breed en voor 65mm, de Electra Fatti O whitewall
banden zorgen voor de finishing touch.

De bike is gemaakt van berken multiplex plaat van 18mm dik, en daarvan een aantal lagen op elkaar gelijmd.
Het ontwerp is eerst compleet getekend in Autocad en daarna in lagen uitgezaagd en op elkaar gelijmd.
Daarna schuren, grof met de haakse slijper en fijner met de hand.
